{BE} Encouraging

I recently participated in a photography workshop offered by an extraordinary Michigan based photographer. I welcome the opportunity to learn something new, to mingle & brush up on the business end of Crystal Snider Photography. Let’s face it, it has been a while since college!

For some odd reason, I had the same first day jitters I often found myself with the first day of class, whether high school or college. I was excited but nervous, as I would be sitting next to all of these passionate fellow photographers. The most important thing I learned that day I walked away with prior to the start of the class. I walked away being 100% clear of who I wanted to be as a photographer. I want to be welcoming. I want to be uplifting. I want to be approachable, consistent and most of all inspiring. I will continually be on a journey of growth, challenging myself professionally. Part of this process involves admiring others work & benefiting from the skills & lessons of those who are willing to share. For those willing to share, I am truly grateful.
