{Mother's Day} Surprise

There is this girl I know, that I have admired for as long as I can remember. A few years older than me, she would sneak me into the bathroom and help me with my hair and make-up. As I entered adulthood she led by example always displaying a confidence. I watched her become a mother & hoped one day I would be half the mother she was. This woman is strong, beautiful & confident. For as long as I can remember, for a million reasons, I have looked up to her.

On Mother’s Day of this year I wanted to give her something special. As she enters a new chapter in life there is no one more deserving. Together a group of us worked to pull off a secret shoot of her children and grandchildren. I was grateful to be able to capture the images. I am thankful to call them family.
