{Flash Back } Avery

Have you ever had a song, a smell, an item take you back in time? In just once breathe you are able to bounce back reliving an awesome moment. This summer has been a series of fabulous flashbacks. I have been blessed to work with some extraordinary seniors this year & and many of them bring connections from the past including Avery.

I had the pleasure of knowing Avery's mother and father growing up. It has been many years since our paths have crossed, but I remembered them both just like it was yesterday. One of the best parts of my session with Avery was the moment we met. Without previously meeting I was quickly able to see the similarities in appearance & personality to his parents.

Our session took place in downtown Allegan, MI with a final stop in an open field location. At our last stop Avery & I walked out into the open field, just the two of us. Often times I find a moment away in quiet is just enough to connect, relax & get a genuine smiles. My favorite shots from our session took place here while we had a brief conversation about the future.

While Avery looks forward to a bright future, I reminisced on moment of the past. So many fond memories to ponder, so many great ones to look forward to.
