{Proposal} Eric & Emma

Eric and I were introduced by a mutual friend. I remember our first conversation very clearly, as he spoke with nervousness, love and anticipation about planning the perfect proposal. We ran through the whole scenario, how he envisioned it playing out, the location & timing. When we ended our call, we had a tentative plan in place and now were in the dreaded waiting stage. After we spoke it was very clear the ring was burning a hole in his pocket and the coming week of weather was not on our side.

Less than a week later we met at the selected location. Eric & I were able to spend some time together as we waited for his plan to play out. During this time I was able to learn more about his love story with Emma. We talked about how they met, their families and future plans. Eric shared how he asked her father for her hand in marriage and selecting the perfect ring. Not one moment passed where you could not feel the overwhelming love Eric had for Emma. As the time drew near, I hid in a bush, the only likely hiding spot. I was able to capture the moment from afar & when the timing was right appeared to capture some more intimate moments.

I guess it goes without saying that Emma said yes. This was my first surprise proposal. I have to be honest, my heart smiled as I remembered what an exciting time this is, a moment of pure love & joy. I am truly thankful for being able to document such an important moment in Eric & Emma' love story.
